Rood Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool things the Green Mountains has to offer. You're sure to encounter some fine people from Barre here, and Williamstown Gulf is close by, and is a pleasant place. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Twin Ponds is close to Rood Pond. Yeah, come here to Rood Pond for a fine time. Gotta ski! Twin Farms is a magnificent spot to

| | do that, and Rood Pond is right by the Bear Hill Trail.
Rood Pond gets a typical amount of precipitation; throughout August this area sees the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Rood Pond is located in the Green Mountains. Lake Champagne Campground is a wonderful local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn At Maplewood.

nearby. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The Green Mountains is unbeatable! Whitewater paddling is glorious on White River - First Branch, and Patterson and Holden Dam has fine water scenery. At Rood Pond during the
summer highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. During the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Rood Pond.
This lake is so wonderful. If you
need a place to stay Hilltop Inn is a great choice, and if you came for an overnight stay Limehurst Lake is a nice place to camp.
