Do stop by Rood Pond while you're in this part of Vermont. Summer at Rood Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Rood Pond temperatures sink to the 0's. If you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on White River - First Branch, and Patterson and Holden Dam is an out of the ordinary

might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Twin Ponds. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! Rood Pond rocks! Whitewater paddling is fine on Mad River; of course, A trip to Williamstown Gulf is always fun.
This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of people from Barre here, and the Bear Hill Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Rood Pond is a perfect location to visit for more than one day, Limehurst Lake is
a perfect location to camp nearby. Rood Pond is a good location of normal rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is one of the great places here in the Green Mountains.
