One of the main features of the surroundings of Rocky Pond is Pine Hill. Why not pop by Center Rutland Dam while you're here, and a short trip to Center Rutland Falls is always worthwhile. Going for a hike along the New Boston Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Lakes are such calm sites,     why not have a look at Spring Lake close to Rocky Pond. Hapgood Pond - Green Mountain National Forest is a great local campground; you're sure to stumble upon some smiling people from Center Rutland here.   - Loretta St.Marie - Loretta St.Marie - Loretta St.Marie Easy going trail from Mt Tabor to Rocky Pond, a 4 mile round trip, 1 1/2 to 2 hour hike. The hike is well worth seeing this breath taking pond. Very secluded & peaceful with tent sites and one or two shelters. Over night stays are 5.00 per person, per night. If you love 'roughing it' camping, this is a great place to go.
