Stay the night at Onion River Campground; there's whitewater on Waits River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Riddel Pond is located in the Green Mountains. Man, is there heaps of cool stuff to do in the Green Mountains. People from Barre love to come to Riddel Pond; dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Barre Montpelier. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a nice time here at Riddel Pond. There's so much to do here at Riddel Pond that you need to camp here

| | for a while, Stillwater Campground is a great site for that; you can go for a hike on the Silver Ledge Trail. All through the summer at Riddel Pond temperatures are typically in the 70's while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Riddel Pond. You clearly have to go for the Green Mountains. you can run the rapids of Ompompanoosuc River. Hollow Inn and Motel is a perfect spot to get some rest, and brilliant hiking is available along the Kettle Pond Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A tour to Foster Notch is always
fun, and there's delightful hiking along the Owls Head Trail. Riddel Pond gets a normal amount of rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake
is so wonderful. One of the overriding features of the surroundings of Riddel Pond is Haden Hill, and a lake close by is Lower Orange Reservoir.
