This lake is one of the great places here in the Green Mountains. These mountains rock, just look at all the cool stuff to do in the Green Mountains. Jerry Lund Mountain is a peak you can observe from Ricker Pond, and if you come at the right time of year, Wells River offers some tremendous whitewater. It's a great idea to stop by Beaver Brook, it's close to Ricker Pond, and there are some perfect whitewater spots on Joe's Brook River. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things at Ricker Pond. Pond you acquire some good water scenery at Groton Pond Dam. Ricker Campground is a great local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn & Suites. A wonderful beach near Ricker Pond is Boulder Beach, and going for
a hike on the Peacham Bog Trail is always a brilliant adventure. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Green Mountains. Do pop by Groton Pond close to Ricker Pond, it's a pretty lake; nearby you
come across the Groton State Forest Nature Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Ricker Pond, you could also have a look at wonderful Levi Pond, and there are brilliant locations
to explore along the Coldwater Brook Trail. Through the warm months at Ricker Pond highs are regularly in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Ricker Pond are in the 0's.
