Ricker Pond is a lake worth visiting. Don't leave Ricker Pond without first going for a hike along the Groton State Forest Nature Trail, and you can hit the beach if you want, Boulder Beach is practically right here. If you need a site to stay Injun Joe Court is a great choice. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Ricker Pond has to offer, you can camp at Stillwater Campground.
