These mountains rock, just look at all the cool stuff to do in the Green Mountains. Jerry Lund Mountain is a peak you can observe from Ricker Pond, and if you come at the right time of year, Wells River offers some tremendous whitewater. If you need a location to stay Fairbanks Inn is a pleasant choice. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Ricker Pond; the month with most of the       rain is August, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. It's a great idea to stop by Beaver Brook, it's close to Ricker Pond, and there are some perfect whitewater spots on Joe's Brook River. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things at Ricker Pond. Ricker Pond is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, Stillwater Campground is a tremendous place to camp nearby, and not far from Ricker                  Pond you acquire some good water scenery at Groton Pond Dam. Ricker Campground is a great local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn & Suites. A wonderful beach near Ricker Pond is Boulder Beach, and going for a hike on the Peacham Bog Trail is always a brilliant adventure. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Green Mountains. Do pop by Groton Pond close to Ricker Pond, it's a pretty lake; nearby you come across the Groton State Forest Nature Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Ricker Pond, you could also have a look at wonderful Levi Pond, and there are brilliant locations to explore along the Coldwater Brook Trail. Through the warm months at Ricker Pond highs are regularly in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's.
