A great site to camp here at Richville Pond is Half Moon State Park Campground, and Richville Pond is a place with many visitors from Rutland. Richville Pond is a good site of normal rain; August is when you get the most rain here while January is typically the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Richville Pond you can take a hike                  along the Daniel Coffey Memorial Trial, and you'll come across a beautiful lake called Fortier Pond. Why not camp at Lake Dunmore Kamperville since you're here at Richville Pond, and magnificent water scenery is available at Richville Dam next to Richville Pond. Courtyard Middlebury is a perfect place to get some rest, and get covered with water paddling on Otter Creek. Throughout the warm days of summer here at Richville Pond, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's while Richville Pond overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.
