    Richville Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. A cool spot to stop by right next door to Richville Pond is The Pinnacle, and people from Rutland love to come here. During the months of summer at Richville Pond highs are ordinarily in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while Richville Pond night low temperatures all through the winter are in the 0's.

   into a kayak and hit Otter Creek; camping at Richville Pond is great fun, Lake Dunmore Kamperville is a great local campground. So many amusing things to do at Richville Pond, so little time. There are nice places to discover along the Glen Lake Trail; why not camp at Half Moon State Park Campground since you're here at Richville Pond. If you come at the right time of year, La Chute River offers some good whitewater, and going for a hike on the Half Moon Pond  
               Trail is always a fine adventure.
Near Richville Pond you discover the Daniel Coffey Memorial Trial which is a good hiking trail, and Richville Dam is striking. Richville Pond gets a common amount of yearly rainfall; all through August this area sees the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at The Middlebury Inn, and the top of Cutting Hill is easily seen from Richville Pond.
