While you're here at Lake Raponda you can take a hike along the Deerfield Ridge Trail, and Green River has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Raponda is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Bald Mountain Camp Ground is a pleasant local campground; skiing at Mount Snow is one of those things you just must do. If you came to camp Moss Hollow Campground is a splendid spot to do that, and some of the water close by flows,
like Hall Brook. This is no spot for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Have a great hiking adventure along the Mount Olga Trail.
Dry warm beds await you at Mt Snow Grand Summit Resort; hiking along the Ghost Trail is brilliant fun. That right there is lots already, but it goes on; Lake Raponda has it all. Mount Snow Condominiums is a good spot to get some rest; why not stop at Spruce Lake Dam if you're here. While you're here at Lake Raponda,

you could also go to pretty Gates Pond, and not far from here you can enjoy the trees of Molly Stark State Forest.
This lake is so wonderful. You can see Mount Olga from Lake Raponda, and gorgeous scenery and fine skiing is what you obtain at Haystack. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Deerfield River, and you'll hit upon a stunning lake called Spruce Lake.

...rly impossible to do all over the world, china has a good system for that (though a little strict its neccessary you only need two at the most anyway more than that is just rediculous) in building, we need roads, well when it rains the roads and the houses prevent the acidic rain from penetrating and filtering throughout the peat and other minerals in the ground. This filtration helps maintain proper ph (affects fish immensely) and filter sediment out (which hinders the gills of fish)not to mention aids in producing topsoil. so the acid rain is now draining in ditches and along the road into ... sadawga, harriman res., and any other local streams which WILL go to larger bodys of water affecting the fish in numerous ways. I'm just a local catch and release fisherman who has left home to make a difference at home and around the world. as for the natural gas emissions problems, I'm not so worried about that (though its still a worry) to me its more important to focus on my previous exerpt as that affects the later exponentially. Its a great area and Iencourage you to visit it but please...
