    If you are in this part of Vermont make sure to pay a visit to Lake Raponda. On a good day at Lake Raponda you can take a hike along the Mount Olga Trail, and what would winter be without some skiing at Mount Snow. If only every place had this much outdoors cool things, what a great earth it would be. At Lake Raponda you can catch a sight of Mount Olga, and Deerfield River is a great whitewater spot close by. A wooded neighborhood in the neighborhood of Lake Raponda  
   is Molly Stark State Forest, and the slopes of Haystack are so inviting nobody can resist.
Spruce Lake Dam is an exciting thing to check out; if you're here, you could also check out lovely Spruce Lake. Wilmington Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could explore; in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Green River. While you're here at Lake Raponda you can take a hike along the Ghost Trail; Lake Raponda
 
               is a good site to visit for more than one day, Bald Mountain Camp Ground is a good site to camp nearby.
And if that's not enough, there's heaps more to do close to Lake Raponda. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Brattleboro is a tremendous location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. There is a tremendous hiking trail near Lake Raponda called the Deerfield Ridge Trail, and Mt Snow Grand Summit Resort is a great spot to get some rest. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Lake Raponda, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Lake Raponda temperatures plunge to the 0's.
The high level of rainfall makes Lake Raponda a quite wet spot; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Moss Hollow Campground is a perfect campground nearby, and unsurprisingly Hall Brook is a scenic stream that is worth going to.
