On a good day at Lake Raponda you can take a hike along the Mount Olga Trail, and what would winter be without some skiing at Mount Snow. is a tremendous location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. There is a tremendous hiking trail near Lake Raponda called the Deerfield Ridge Trail, and Mt Snow Grand Summit Resort is a great spot to get some rest.
Summer brings highs in the 70's to Lake Raponda, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Lake Raponda temperatures
plunge to the 0's. The high level of rainfall makes Lake Raponda a quite wet spot; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Moss Hollow
Campground is a perfect campground nearby, and unsurprisingly Hall Brook is a scenic stream that is worth going to.
