This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Hang Glider Trail. From a rainfall point of view Quarry Pond is a relatively typical site; the month with most of the rain is August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. All through the warm days of summer at Quarry Pond temperatures are frequently in the 80's while nighttime lows are typically in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter       are in the 30's; night lows in the 10's for Quarry Pond. On a wonderful day you acquire a sight of Eagleshead from Quarry Pond, and Black River is a great whitewater spot nearby. You truly have to have a thing about the Green Mountains.
