It's always fun to stop by Prentiss Pond. Camping is available at Campground C, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Lye Brook Trail. Daley Brook is a pleasant place to explore, and if you get bored of Prentiss Pond you could also visit nearby Lake Madeleine. This spot, the Green Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Dry warm beds await you at Manchester View Fine Lodging, and going for a hike along the Mad Tom Trail will let you absorb

Prentiss Pond is right next door to Dorset Hollow which is absolutely worth going to, and for you golfers we recommend close by Equinox Country Club. Equinox Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and this is a popular site for folks from Bennington. Through the summer at Prentiss Pond highs are generally in the 80's. into the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are generally in the 30's; during the dark hours in the winter at Prentiss Pond temperatures sink to the 0's. Prentiss Pond is a rather wet place regularly with a lot of rain;
the month with most of the rain is August; February is the month with the least moisture. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff near Prentiss Pond. Get your pulse rate up on the nice whitewater of Battenkill River, and the
snow is brilliant at Bromley. This lake is so wonderful. Head up to Snow Valley and strap some skis to your feet, and if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Lake Trail. There's no way anyone can get bored
here in the Green Mountains. So many amusing things to do in the Green Mountains, not sufficient time. Inns at the Equinox is a wonderful place to get some rest, and camping at Dorset RV Park is always a tremendous experience. This
lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Rupert State Forest is a forest near Prentiss Pond that you can go to, and a magnificent spot for whitewater paddling is Roaring Branch.
