This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Snow Valley is just what you need; Barnstead Inn is a magnificent location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year,
Roaring Branch offers some pleasant whitewater, and don't forget to take a delightful little trip to Daley Brook. You're sure to come across some good people from Bennington here; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Bromley is quite
near.
So much exciting stuff to do in the Green Mountains, not enough time. Near Prentiss Pond you discover magnificent places like Dorset Hollow; hiking along the Mad Tom Trail is wonderful fun. For the duration of the warmest
time of the year, highs regularly are in the 80's at Prentiss Pond. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Prentiss
