If you are in this part of Vermont make sure to pay a visit to The Pogue. High temperatures at The Pogue through the summertime months are in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at The Pogue. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Pond Ridge Motel, and there's great hiking along the Hang Glider Trail. Silver Lake Family Campground

This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ottauquechee River, and you can go for a hike on the Mount Peg Foot and Bridal Trails. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things in the Green Mountains. Not far from The Pogue you obtain some great water scenery at Cox District Reservoir Dam, and
White River is a fine whitewater spot close by. That right there is heaps of exciting stuff already but it goes on, the Green Mountains has it all. Visit Barnard Brook since you're here at The Pogue, and Suicide Six is a very popular
ski area in the neighborhood. The Pogue is a wet place that gets a great deal of precipitation; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; February is when it's the driest.

in one place! The Pogue is so good! Don't leave The Pogue without first going for a hike along the Barnard Trail; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Twin Farms. A stunning lake like Carlton Reservoir close
to The Pogue is a magnificent place to check out; the vista of lovely Breakneck Hill is glorious. If you need a site to stay Woodstock Inn & Resort is a tremendous choice, and The Pogue is a good place to camp, Pine Valley Resort Campground is a good place.
