Vermont has many beautiful lakes and Pine Pond is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. Take some time to take a look at Castleton Municipal Forest since you're here, and while you're here, do take a trip to Cedar Point. Pine Pond is right by the Bomoseen Hiking Loop. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Pine Pond has to offer, you can camp at Lake Bomoseen Camp Ground. There's so much to do here at Pine Pond that you need to camp here for a while,

| | Big D Campground is a glorious place for that, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Poultney River. An attention-grabbing thing to stop at next to Pine Pond is Pine Pond Dam; if you need a location to stay Edgewater Motel is a good choice. Lakes are such calm places, why not go to Lake Bomoseen next to Pine Pond, and Prospect Bay Country Club is a golf course nearby. You get a great sight of Bull Hill from Pine Pond; you can have a great hiking adventure | |

along the Half Moon Pond Trail. This lake is so wonderful. During your journey to Pine Pond you'll meet some folks from Rutland for sure, and some of the water nearby flows, like Pond Hill Brook. Pine Pond gets a normal amount
of precipitation; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Man, is there a load of enjoyable stuff to do right next door to Pine Pond. Not enough hours in
a day to enjoy this site. Take a hike on the Glen Lake Trail, and a splendid nearby hotel is Hotel Trakenseen. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Pine Pond with nighttime lows in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Pine Pond.
