Pine Pond is a perfect site to visit for more than one day, Lake Bomoseen Camp Ground is a perfect site to camp nearby, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Glen Lake Trail. But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of Pine Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Poultney River is a splendid whitewater spot near Pine Pond; while you're here you can take a hike along the Half Moon       Pond Trail. An average amount of rain falls at Pine Pond; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. This place, Pine Pond, it clearly has so much outdoors fun stuff. You are near Cedar Point while you're here at Pine Pond, and there are plenty of folks from Rutland here at Pine Pond. Bull Hill can be observed from Pine Pond, naturally you could also stop by Lake Bomoseen if you're here; it's not                  far at all. After a long day outdoors Highlander Motel is a great place to spend a night or two, and let's not forget Pond Hill Brook which is a stream that you may run into while you're here. Stay the night at Big D Campground, and the trees of Castleton Municipal Forest are a glorious source of shade on hot summer days. This lake is so wonderful. Pine Pond Dam is a stunning spot near Pine Pond; Prospect Bay Country Club is a golf course close by. For the duration of the days of summer at Pine Pond highs are commonly in the 80's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 50's.
