Pigeon Pond is one of the lakes here in the Green Mountains. There's nice hiking along the Silver Ledge Trail, and at Pigeon Pond you can make out Little Spruce Mountain. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Green Mountains. Stay the night at New Discovery Campground; Boulder Beach is rather close by if you're in a beach type of mood. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Green Mountains       will keep you coming back many times. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Owls Head Trail; Twin City Motel is a perfect place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is good on Winooski River, and get drenched paddling on Waits River. Now, you may think that's loads but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Pigeon Pond. Mud Pond is a tremendous lake close to Pigeon Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Vermonter Motel. A                  typical amount of precipitation falls here at Pigeon Pond; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Pigeon Pond; Kettle Pond Trail is a wonderful local trail, and there are plenty of people from Barre here at Pigeon Pond. Pigeon Pond is a great site to camp, Stillwater Campground is a great site, and do visit Noyes Pond Dam if you're here. For the duration of the summer at Pigeon Pond highs are typically in the 70's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 50's.
