Pico Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The Green Mountains is excellent! If you need a location to stay Chalet Killington is a wonderful choice, and the skiing at Killington is great. This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains. There is a great hiking trail close to Pico Pond called the Bucklin Trail, and a fine nearby hotel is Red Roof Inn Killington. If you

| | want a tremendous time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Pico Pond. Pico Pond is not far at all from Rutland. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining things the Green Mountains has to offer. On a great day at Pico Pond you can take a hike along the Circle Trail, and Deer Leap Mountain is painless to spot from Pico Pond. Lakes? Sure, Kent Pond is around here, and there's whitewater on Mill River for all you adrenaline kick people. | |

Near Pico Pond you come across the Juggernaut Trail which is a fine hiking trail; Pico Mountain is a delightful local ski area. For the period of the months of summer here at Pico Pond, high temperatures typically get into the 80's.
When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 30's, and night lows during the wintertime for Pico Pond tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. A
great place next to Pico Pond is Sherburne Pass; you can run the rapids of White River. This lake is so wonderful. Why not have a look at Kent Pond Dam while you're here, and camping is available at White River Valley Camping.
Be careful coming to Pico Pond, you might not ever want to return home again. Why not camp at Plymouth Village Campground if you're here at Pico Pond, and Calvin Coolidge State Forest is a wonderful local forest. The annual precipitation
here at Pico Pond is about average; through August this area sees the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture.
