Pickles Pond is a lake worth visiting. All through the summer at Pickles Pond temperatures are regularly in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Pickles Pond temperatures sink to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn At Maplewood, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Bear Hill Trail. Lakes are such serene spots, why not pop by South Pond near Pickles Pond, and paddling on White River - First Branch is so much fun. Pond is a relatively typical site; the month with most of the rain is August, and February is the month with the least moisture. Pickles Pond is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Champagne Campground is a tremendous
local campground, and a day on the slopes of Twin Farms is just what you need. Camping at Limehurst Lake is always a wonderful experience, and you can have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Clark Brook Trail. This lake is so
wonderful. If you need a place to stay Hollow Inn and Motel is a delightful choice; at Pickles Pond you always meet someone from Barre.
