    Pickles Pond is a lake worth visiting. All through the summer at Pickles Pond temperatures are regularly in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Pickles Pond temperatures sink to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. White River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby; do take a hike on the Barnard Trail. If you want a brilliant  
   time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Pickles Pond.
All year is a good time in the Green Mountains if you love the outdoors. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn At Maplewood, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Bear Hill Trail. Lakes are such serene spots, why not pop by South Pond near Pickles Pond, and paddling on White River - First Branch is so much fun. Be careful coming to Pickles Pond, you might not ever wanna return back home
 
               again. There are other spots here than Pickles Pond, for example Sunset Lake, and Hebard Hill can be seen from Pickles Pond.
Pickles Pond is one of the lakes here in the Green Mountains. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things in the Green Mountains. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Suicide Six is in the vicinity of Pickles Pond; a round of golf at nearby Montague Golf Club is a good way to kill some time. From a rainfall point of view Pickles Pond is a relatively typical site; the month with most of the rain is August, and February is the month with the least moisture.
Pickles Pond is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Champagne Campground is a tremendous local campground, and a day on the slopes of Twin Farms is just what you need. Camping at Limehurst Lake is always a wonderful experience, and you can have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Clark Brook Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Hollow Inn and Motel is a delightful choice; at Pickles Pond you always meet someone from Barre.
