Beautiful Pickett Pond has much to offer visitors. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Owls Head Trail; if you come at the right time of year, Lamoille River - Wild Branch offers some splendid whitewater. The Kettle Pond Trail offers hiking at its best, and you'll possibly meet some folks from Barre here. And that's not all there is to do here in the Green Mountains. Swamps can be such exciting places, have a look at Martell Swamp

| | if you're here at Pickett Pond. There's so much to do here at Pickett Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Spooners Trailer Park and Campground is a nice place for that. Take a hike on the Osmore Pond Hiking Loop. At Pickett Pond throughout the summer highs are in the 80's; the overnight is a little cooler of course, generally in the 50's. Highs all through the winter are regularly in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Pickett Pond. | |

Pickett Pond is a beautiful lake in the Green Mountains. Just can't get enough of the Green Mountains. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Winooski River, and Lakeview Inn is a great site to get some rest. Since you might be in
a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Buck Lake; you can stay the night at Idle Hours Campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you're a golfer then a brilliant close by course is Woodbury Golf Course, and East Long
Pond Dam is beautiful. All the water falling down from the sky makes Pickett Pond a wet location; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Any time is a brilliant time
at Pickett Pond if you love the outdoors. The peak of Round Knoll can be spotted from Pickett Pond, and if you need a location to stay Village Motel is a magnificent choice.
