A visit to Pickerel Pond is always a good idea. So many exciting things in the Green Mountains, just inspiring. Get wet paddling on Roaring Branch, and don't leave Pickerel Pond without first going for a hike along the Lye Brook Trail. You're sure to run into some cheerful folks from Bennington here; why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Equinox Country Club. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things in the Green Mountains. Take

| | a little tour to Little Mad Tom Brook since you're here at Pickerel Pond, and you can hit the slopes at Snow Valley in the neighborhood.
Campground C is a splendid campground here; there are pleasant spots to look at along the Mad Tom Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Dufresne Pond Dam is a picturesque place in close proximity to Pickerel Pond, and Inn at Willow Pond is a great place to get some rest. High temperatures at Pickerel Pond during the months | |

of summer are in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Pickerel Pond are in the 0's.
Pickerel Pond is one of
the lakes here in the Green Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Maryville Campground and Gift Shop is a good place to camp, and paddling on Big Branch is so much fun. The high level of rainfall
makes Pickerel Pond a reasonably wet place; most of the rain falls throughout August; February is when it's the driest.
This spot is excellent, just check out all the entertaining things to do in the vicinity of Pickerel Pond.
So many amusing things to do at Pickerel Pond, so little time. There's pleasant hiking along the Lake Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Four Winds Country Motel. This is a great region for people who like lakes. Bullhead Pond is a lake close at hand, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Bromley.
