Pickerel Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. These mountains rock, just check out all the enjoyable things to do in the Green Mountains. This is a tremendous region for folks who like lakes. South Village Pond is a lake close at hand, and close by you hit upon the Mad Tom Trail which is a fine hiking trail. So much amusing stuff to do at Pickerel Pond, so little time. Head up to Bromley and strap some skis to your feet; a tremendous site

All the water falling down from the sky makes Pickerel Pond a wet location; during August this area sees the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Summertime at Pickerel Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Go for a hike on the Lake Trail; you can stay the night at Campground C. Little Mad Tom Brook is a stream that you may stumble upon while you're here; there are plenty of folks from Bennington here. You can run the rapids of Big Branch
near Pickerel Pond; Maryville Campground and Gift Shop is a nice campground nearby. You just should fancy the Green Mountains. Going for a hike on the Lye Brook Trail is always a nice adventure; if you need a spot to stay Manchester
View Fine Lodging is a perfect choice. This lake is so wonderful. Equinox Country Club is a fine golf course nearby, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Snow Valley. Nearby lakes? Sure, Bullhead Pond
is near Pickerel Pond, and after a long day outdoors Inns at the Equinox is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two.
