This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant place for whitewater paddling next to Perch Pond is Poultney River, and dry warm beds await you at Lake Bomoseen Inn. You'll meet a
lot of people from Rutland here. The Half Moon Pond Trail is a great hiking trail near Perch Pond, and a round of golf at nearby Prospect Bay Country Club is a brilliant way to kill some time.
