    Many people like to go to Perch Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Near Perch Pond you locate the Glen Lake Trail which is a great hiking trail; in all probability you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Choate Pond is just a very short distance away. Sunrise Lake Dam is not far at all from Perch Pond, and at Perch Pond you can spot Bishop Hill. Summertime highs at Perch Pond regularly tend to be in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's.  
   All through the winter highs are generally in the 20's; night lows at Perch Pond through the winter commonly drop into the 0's.
On a good day at Perch Pond you can take a hike along the Daniel Coffey Memorial Trial, and don't miss out on a great swamp; Conway Swamp is right here at Perch Pond. But wait, there's more to do in close proximity to Perch Pond. Perch Pond is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Bomoseen State Park Campground is a fine local
 
               campground; Edgewater Motel is a delightful place to get some rest. You simply should go to Arnolds Ledge while you're here at Perch Pond. There's so much to do here at Perch Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Half Moon State Park Campground is a splendid location for that.
This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant place for whitewater paddling next to Perch Pond is Poultney River, and dry warm beds await you at Lake Bomoseen Inn. You'll meet a lot of people from Rutland here. The Half Moon Pond Trail is a great hiking trail near Perch Pond, and a round of golf at nearby Prospect Bay Country Club is a brilliant way to kill some time.
