An average amount of rainfall falls at Pensioner Pond; most of the rain falls during August, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Char- BO Campground; hiking is a popular thing to do around Pensioner Pond; Mount Pisgah Trail is a perfect local trail. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Green Mountains. You can take a little       tour to Pensioner Pond Dam if you're here at Pensioner Pond, and the view of gorgeous Oliver Hill is great. This lake is so wonderful. Balm of Gilead Beach is close to Pensioner Pond and is a picturesque beach to check out, and paddling on Barton River is so much fun. All through the summer highs here at Pensioner Pond get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for                  Pensioner Pond. Whitewater paddling is fine on Clyde River, and fine hiking is available along the Mount Pisgah East Trail. This spot, the Green Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Skiing at Lyndon Outing Club is one of those things you just should do, and it's a nice idea to stop at Nutting Brook. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll go for Pensioner Pond. A beautiful lake like Charleston Pond right next door to Pensioner Pond is a glorious site to take a look at. Chargo Campground is a perfect campground nearby; dry warm beds await you at Holiday Motel and Annex. Go for a hike on the Pisgah Trail, and Super 8 Motel - Derby/Newport Area is a great location to get some rest. Pensioner Pond is located in the Green Mountains. This is no spot for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves.
