Pensioner Pond is always a pleasure to visit. If you adore the outdoors, you'll love Pensioner Pond. Good hiking is available along the Pisgah Trail, and Burke Mountain is a tremendous local ski area. This lake is so wonderful. Get soaked paddling on Clyde River, and if you need a site to stay Green Acres Cabins & Shop is a great choice.
There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Green Mountains. Camping at Chargo Campground is always a magnificent

| | experience; on a beautiful day you get a delightful vista of Oliver Hill from Pensioner Pond. Pensioner Pond gets a typical amount of rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February. Everybody close by loves skiing at Lyndon Outing Club; there's always Pensioner Pond Dam to have a look at right next door to Pensioner Pond.

Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Pensioner Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Will-o-wood Campground,
and float down the rapids of Barton River in a kayak. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Pensioner Pond; Mount Pisgah Trail is a splendid local trail, and a lake
close by is Charleston Pond.
There's splendid hiking along the Mount Pisgah East Trail; a quick visit to Nutting Brook is positively a great idea. Yep, outdoors amusing stuff truly is abundant here in the Green Mountains. If you
want to hit the beach, Balm of Gilead Beach is close at hand; a perfect nearby hotel is Border Motel. The Green Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
