    Why not stop by Pensioner Pond if you're passing through these parts. This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clyde River, and there's always Pensioner Pond Dam to go to right next door to Pensioner Pond. That right there is heaps already, but it goes on; Pensioner Pond has it all. If you need a spot to stay Holiday Motel and Annex is a fine choice.

   not all you can do here at Pensioner Pond. Will-o-wood Campground is a brilliant local campground, and close by you discover the Mount Pisgah East Trail which is a fine hiking trail. Lakes are such serene sites, why not pop by Charleston Pond next to Pensioner Pond; what would winter be without some skiing at Burke Mountain. Summertime highs at Pensioner Pond regularly tend to be in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the  
               50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Pensioner Pond sink into the 0's.
You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things in the Green Mountains. On a gorgeous day you can take a look at Balm of Gilead Beach close to Pensioner Pond, and going for a hike on the Mount Pisgah Trail is always a wonderful adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Barton River has a splendid whitewater paddling spot nearby, and wonderful scenery and good skiing is what you obtain at Lyndon Outing Club. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Chargo Campground while you're here at Pensioner Pond, and don't forget to take a great little trip to Nutting Brook.
That right there is a load of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Green Mountains has it all. There are other places here than Pensioner Pond, for example Pensioner Pond; Oliver Hill is striking and can be seen from here. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Derby/Newport Area, and the Pisgah Trail is a splendid hiking trail close by. Pensioner Pond gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; August is the wettest month with most rain while February is ordinarily the driest month.
