    It's always fun to stop by Pecks Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Pecks Pond, you'll find Limehurst Pond which is a gorgeous lake, and camping at Lazy Lions Campground is always a glorious experience. Camping is available at Limehurst Lake; since you're here you can take a hike along the Kettle Pond Trail. Yeah, come up here to the Green Mountains for a great time. You're sure to stumble upon some cheerful folks from Barre here, and get your pulse  
   rate up on the magnificent whitewater of Winooski River.
This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Pecks Pond and you like golf, you can explore Country Club of Barre, and the panorama of West Hill is charming. Pecks Pond gets a common amount of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is regularly August, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always
 
               explore nearby Bolster Reservoir; a good forest close by is Barre City Municipal Forest.
You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area near Pecks Pond has to offer. The slopes of Stowe are so inviting noone can resist. Pecks Pond in fact is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. A fine place for whitewater paddling near Pecks Pond is Minister Brook; do pop by Cold Spring Brook while you're here at Pecks Pond. After a long day outdoors Barre-Days Inn Barre/Montpelier is a nice spot to spend a night or two, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Silver Ledge Trail.
Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Pecks Pond. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. Through the winter the highs are commonly in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Pecks Pond. Be careful coming to the Green Mountains, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Hollow Inn and Motel is a great site to get some rest; going for a hike along the Bear Hill Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Pecks Pond is a beautiful lake in the Green Mountains.
