Do stop by Peabody Pond while you're in this part of Vermont. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Horseshoe Acres Camp Grounds is a good site to camp, and get your pulse rate up on the wonderful whitewater of West River. All through the long summer days, highs frequently are in the 80's at Peabody Pond with overnight lows in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Peabody Pond dipping down into the 10's

| | all through winter nights. Peabody Pond is located in the Green Mountains. Peabody Pond beyond doubt is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. The snow is perfect at Bromley, and do go to Moses Pond, it's a lovely lake. Dry warm beds await you at White Pine Lodge, and camping at Peabody Pond is delightful fun, Otter Creek Campground is a delightful local campground. again. Landgrove Inn is a splendid spot to get some rest, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Jones Brook Trail. That right there is a heap of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Green Mountains has it all.
The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Magic Mountain; going for a hike along the Utley Brook Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. You can run the rapids of Big Branch in close proximity
to Peabody Pond, and there are plenty of people from Rutland here at Peabody Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Holt Mountain is wonderful and can be distinguished from Peabody Pond, and hiking along the Little Michigan Trail is pleasant
fun. A large amount of rainfall falls at Peabody Pond; the wettest month of the year is mostly August, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest.
