Near Patch Pond you locate the Canty Trail which is a glorious hiking trail; Mill River has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot close by. Having a great time at Patch Pond is uncomplicated. Rutland Municipal Forest is a tremendous local forest, and if you've had enough of Patch Pond, Rocky Pond is close by. So many exciting things in close proximity to Patch Pond, completely tremendous. Killington has glorious slopes and a friendly staff,       and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Pico Mountain. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Green Mountains. Why not pop by Patch Dam since you're here, and camping is available at Hapgood Pond - Green Mountain National Forest. Take a little visit to East Creek if you're here at Patch Pond; dry warm beds await you at Highlander Motel. Summertime highs at Patch Pond ordinarily tend to                  be in the 80's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Patch Pond are in the 0's. This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains. There are good places to look at along the South Pond Trail, and after a long day outdoors Rutland Killington Red Roof Inn is a great place to spend a night or two. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Green Mountains. In case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clarendon River, and golf can be played at Rutland Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the New Boston Trail is always a nice adventure, as expected you could also go to Dunklee Pond since you're here; it's not far at all. This place, the Green Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Here at Patch Pond there are plenty of folks from Rutland; if you came for an overnight stay Iroquios Land Family is a nice spot to camp.
