The beauty of Lake Parker is reason enough to stop by. So much fun stuff in the Green Mountains, just phenomenal. Have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Herbert Hawkes Hiking Trail, and you can run the rapids of Barton River. For the duration of the summer, highs usually are in the 70's at Lake Parker with night lows in the 50's. During the winter highs are frequently in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Lake Parker are in the 0's. This lake is

| | so wonderful. Lakes are such calm locations, why not explore Baker Pond next to Lake Parker, and the summit of Still Hill can be distinguished from Lake Parker. If the weather is wonderful here at Lake Parker, you can go for a hike along the Mount Pisgah Trail; why not head up to Lyndon Outing Club and strap some skis to your feet. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Parker is a beautiful lake in the Green Mountains. From a rainfall point of view Lake Parker is a reasonably common place; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
While you're here at Lake Parker you can take a hike along the South Shore Hiking Trail, and camping at Tree Corners Family Campground is always a fine experience. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Green Mountains.
Orleans Country Club is a golf course near Lake Parker, and Lake Parker is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Belview Campground is a tremendous local campground.
