At Olympus Pool during the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 20's; night lows during the winter for Olympus Pool tend to be in the 0's. Now, you may assume that's lots but there's even more exciting       things to do here in the Green Mountains. A good nearby hotel is Highlander Motel, and not far from Olympus Pool you'll come across Beaver Pond which is a scenic lake. This lake is so wonderful. Pine Hill is clearly visible from Olympus Pool; a short journey to Sutherland Falls is always worthwhile. This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains. There's so much to do here at Olympus Pool that you need to camp here for a while, Hapgood Pond - Green                  Mountain National Forest is a great spot for that, and if you need a site to stay Rutland Killington Red Roof Inn is a tremendous choice. And if that's not enough there's a heap more cool stuff to do in the Green Mountains. You'll meet a lot of people from Rutland here, and Proctor Dam is a spot that is in the vicinity of Olympus Pool. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! The Green Mountains rocks! There's whitewater on Clarendon River for all you thrill seekers. This lake is so wonderful. Olympus Pool is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Iroquios Land Family is a delightful local campground, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Duval Trail. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Reynolds Reservoir, and hey, Gotta ski right? Pico Mountain is a magnificent spot to do that. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a magnificent time here at Olympus Pool. Very charming scenery and glorious skiing is what you get at Killington, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Canty Trail. The yearly rainfall here at Olympus Pool is about average; most of the rain falls through August, and the driest of the months is February. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Olympus Pool.
