    Noyes Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Green Mountains. From Noyes Pond you obtain a good sight of Little Spruce Mountain; the good folks of Barre like to hang out nearby. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Green Mountains. Lakes are such serene spots, why not explore Pigeon Pond near Noyes Pond, and you can go for a hike on  
   the Silver Ledge Trail. Why not camp at Stillwater Campground while you're here at Noyes Pond.
This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Big Deer Campground is a great place to camp; hiking is a popular thing to do around Noyes Pond; Owls Head Trail is a great local trail. Be careful coming to Noyes Pond, you might not ever want to go back home again. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Winooski
 
               River, and Noyes Pond Dam is a beautiful site, definitely worth a visit. At Noyes Pond all through the summertime highs are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Noyes Pond are in the 0's.
Noyes Pond is a beautiful lake in the Green Mountains. If you come at the right time of year, Waits River offers some pleasant whitewater, and nice hiking is available along the Kettle Pond Trail. During your stay at Noyes Pond do have a look at nearby Boulder Beach, and Barre-Days Inn Barre/Montpelier is a pleasant location to get some rest.
The amount of precipitation that falls at Noyes Pond is close to the national average; through August this area sees the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A charming lake like Mud Pond near Noyes Pond is a perfect spot to check out, and after a long day outdoors Hollow Inn and Motel is a wonderful site to spend a night or two.

We have been campers on Ticklenaked Pond for 30 plus years and love it's pristine water and oh yes....the loons. We have now been seasonal campers for 8 years and plan on many more. This is a wonderful family campground with much to enjoy such as a fishing derby for the kids, pot luck dinners, karaoke, live bands at least a couple of times during the season, paddle boats to rent, swimming, boating, hot showers and many, many, wonderful folks.
The proprietors, Harry and Sandy Cushing are great hosts. Come join us for a night, a weekend or for the season.
