This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Notch Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Lakeside Camping Area is a magnificent site for that; nearby you find the Shore Trail which is a good hiking trail. So many fun things to do here in the Green Mountains, too splendid to be true. You can spot North Notch Mountain from Notch Pond; going for a hike on the Moose Trail is always a great adventure. All year is a good time in the Green Mountains

to North Branch Paul Stream. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Notch Pond. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while Notch Pond nighttime low temperatures
through the winter are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. The Loon Trail is a glorious hiking trail in the vicinity of Notch Pond; since you're here, you could also pop by scenic South American Pond. Notch Pond is pleasant enough
to spend more than a day at, Big Rock Campground and Store is a pleasant local campground, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Lyndon Outing Club is pretty near. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you
can always go whitewater paddling on Moose River; Notch Pond is not far at all from Berlin. Notch Pond gets a typical amount of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August while February is the month with the least amount
of precipitation. A day on the slopes of Burke Mountain is just what you need, and Lancaster Motor Inn is a great spot to get some rest.

Is it still there????...Growing up I have had a place on maidstone lake it was my favorit spot at a kid and one day I hope to own another camp up there. I had the best time from water skiing to fishing.
