    A visit to Norton Pond is always a good idea. Summertime highs at Norton Pond usually tend to be in the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Norton Pond. So much fun stuff to do at Norton Pond, so little time. A great panorama of charming Hedgehog Hill is available from Norton Pond; there's pleasant hiking along the Mount Gore Trail.
You're almost
 
   certainly hooked on lakes, Halfway Pond is one of those nearby, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Nulhegan River. The scenery at Norton Pond Dam near Norton Pond is striking, and Clyde River is a good whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Lakeside Camping Area, and in all probability you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Unknown Pond is just a very short distance  
               away.
You'll need more than a day to explore everything Norton Pond has to offer, you can camp at White Caps Campground, and Burke Mountain is a pleasant local ski area. Norton Pond gets a typical amount of precipitation; most of the rain falls all through August while February is typically the driest month. Don't forget to take a delightful little spree to Davis Brook, and Norton Pond is right by the Number Six Road.
This lake is so wonderful. The Gore Trail offers hiking at its best, and everybody nearby loves skiing at Lyndon Outing Club.
