The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Burke Mountain; hiking along the Gore Trail is magnificent fun. All through the warm days of summer here at Norton Pond, high temperatures commonly reach the 70's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Norton Pond. Get drenched       paddling on Clyde River, and at Norton Pond you can spot Hedgehog Hill. Norton Pond gets a typical amount of annual rainfall; most of the rain falls during August, and February is the month with the least moisture. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Norton Pond has to offer, you can camp at White Caps Campground, and why not head up to Lyndon Outing Club and strap some skis to your feet. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Mount                  Gore Trail, and delightful water scenery is available at Norton Pond Dam near Norton Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Davis Brook is a magnificent spot to pop by, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Nulhegan River. What a spot this is for outdoors folks.
