    Go to North Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. At North Pond you can observe Porter Hill, and North Dam is a spot that is close to North Pond. There's whitewater on Deerfield River for all you adrenaline kick people, and there are delightful places to discover along the Ghost Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Haystack is one of those things you just should do; camping is available at Country Aire Campgrounds.
Don't leave North Pond without
 
   first going for a hike along the Mount Olga Trail, and do check out Brown Brook while you're here at North Pond. Just can't get enough of North Pond. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Pelham Brook, and you can never get enough of the glorious skiing at Mount Snow. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Moss Hollow Campground since you're here at North Pond; a gorgeous lake like Lake Sadawga is a pleasant place to  
               go to.
At North Pond through the months of summer highs are in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are frequently in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at North Pond temperatures fall to the 0's. If you need a site to stay Readsboro Inn is a delightful choice, and perfect hiking is available along the Dunbar Brook Trail. Jennie A Hood is a good site to get some rest.
North Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August; February is the month with the least moisture.
