This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Mountain Top Inn and Resort, and skiing at Pico Mountain is one of those things you just must do. While you're here at North Pond it's a wonderful idea to stop at The Basin, and close by Telephone Gap is a nice spot to go. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from North Pond you acquire some pleasant water scenery       at Lefferts Dam, and Daves Peak is painless to spot from North Pond. If you need a spot to stay Econo Lodge Killington Area is a glorious choice; South Pond is a good lake close by. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The Green Mountains is peerless! North Pond is right by the Wetmore Gap Trail, and good skiing awaits you at Killington. This is no location for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Some of the water nearby flows, like Green                  Brook, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on Mill River. This lake is so wonderful. That right there is heaps already, but it keeps on going; North Pond has it all. Why not take a refreshing hike along the New Boston Trail. There's so much to do here at North Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Mountain Trails Camping Area is a good location for that. Now, you may believe that's heaps but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the Green Mountains. Hiking is a popular thing to do around North Pond; South Pond Trail is a wonderful local trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything North Pond has to offer, you can camp at Chittenden Brook Campground. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the Green Mountains has to offer. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not explore Lefferts Pond in the vicinity of North Pond, and if you're stopping by from Rutland, you won't be the only one. While you're here at North Pond you can play some golf at White River Golf Course, and Clarendon River has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot close by. All through the warm months, highs regularly are in the 80's at North Pond, and the night is rather chillier of course, typically in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 20's with temperatures at North Pond dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights.
