What a nice lake North Pond is. Daves Peak is easy to spot from North Pond; Lefferts Pond is a good lake close by. High temperatures at North Pond all through the summer months are in the 80's; the nighttime is rather chillier of course, regularly in the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's with temperatures at North Pond dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. An average amount of rain falls at North Pond; August is when

| | you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. You can take a little visit to Lefferts Dam while you're here at North Pond, and people from Rutland love to come here. But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of North Pond. A round of golf at nearby White River Golf Course is a great way to kill some time, and if you come at the right time of year, Mill River offers some splendid whitewater. You'll never | |

forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Killington if you're here; North Pond is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Chittenden Brook Campground is a glorious local campground. That right there is plenty of amusing
stuff already but it goes on, the Green Mountains has it all. After a long day outdoors The Moutain Top Inn and Resort is a great place to spend a night or two. Yeah, come up here to the Green Mountains for a glorious time. The Basin
is a perfect place to stretch your legs a bit; a great place to camp here at North Pond is Mountain Trails Camping Area. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Wetmore Gap Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and dry
warm beds await you at Edelweiss Motel. The Green Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Drift down the rapids of Clarendon River in a kayak, and you could always discover Telephone Gap. Be careful coming to the Green Mountains,
you might not ever want to return back home again. There is a splendid hiking trail near North Pond called the South Pond Trail, and why not a little side journey to Green Brook. This place, North Pond, it completely has so much
outdoors enjoyable stuff. Near North Pond you find the New Boston Trail which is a glorious hiking trail, and pretty scenery and great skiing is what you obtain at Pico Mountain.
