     North Pond is always a pleasure to visit. And if that's not sufficient there's plenty more cool things to do in the Green Mountains. Stay the night at Lake Champagne Campground. Lakes? Sure, Lamson Pond is nearby. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area in the vicinity of North Pond has to offer. Hilltop Inn is a brilliant spot to get some rest; in the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater  
   paddling on White River - First Branch. Just can't get enough of the Green Mountains. At Sunset Lake Dam near North Pond there are some attention-grabbing things to see; lovely scenery and good skiing is what you obtain at Twin Farms.
There are nice sites to explore along the Bear Hill Trail, and a great location for whitewater paddling is White River. High temperatures at North Pond during the months of summer are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down
 
               to the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at North Pond are in the 0's. Good hiking is available along the Clark Brook Trail; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by South Pond.
This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Suicide Six if you're here, and one of the main traits of the surroundings of North Pond is Bear Hill. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of people from Barre here at North Pond, and Limehurst Lake is a delightful campground nearby. The amount of precipitation that falls at North Pond is close to the national average; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; February on the other hand is the driest.
And that's not all you can do here at North Pond. The Green Mountains scenery is always beautiful. A great nearby hotel is Comfort Inn At Maplewood, and don't leave North Pond without first going for a hike along the Barnard Trail.
