A day on the slopes of Sugarbush is just what you need. Summertime highs at North Pond generally tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while North Pond overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. Be careful coming to the Green Mountains, you might not ever want to go back home again. Hiking is a popular thing to do around North Pond; Battell Trail is a nice local

| | trail; a striking lake like Higgins Pond is a magnificent location to pop by. North Pond gets a typical amount of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August while February is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay The Middlebury Inn is a pleasant choice; camping at Maple Hill Campsites is always a good experience. are such peaceful places, why not have a look at Gilmore Pond in the neighborhood of North Pond; soar down the rapids of New Haven River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Courtyard Middlebury, and
why not head up to Mad River Glen and strap some skis to your feet. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff near North Pond. Good hiking is available along the Abbey Pond Trail, and South Mountain is painless to spot from North
Pond. Don't leave North Pond without first going for a hike along the Beaver Meadow Trail, and North Pond is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Green Mt. Family Campground is a perfect local campground. North Pond is
a beautiful lake in the Green Mountains. Paddling on New Haven River is so much fun, and why not take a little trip to Baldwin Creek since you're here.
