North Pond is a nice lake to visit. North Pond is one of the lakes here in the Green Mountains. Yeah, come up here to the Green Mountains for a nice time. While you're here at North Pond you can take a hike along the Abbey Pond Trail, and dry warm beds await you at The Middlebury Inn. This lake is so wonderful. On a pleasant day at North Pond you can take a hike along the Battell Trail; it's a great idea to visit Baldwin Creek. Whitewater paddling is great

| | on New Haven River, and here at North Pond you can catch a glimpse of South Mountain. There's so much to do here at North Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Rivers Bend Campground is a glorious location for that, unsurprisingly you could also stop at Gilmore Pond if you're here; it's not far at all. Mad River Glen is a good local ski area. North Pond gets a typical amount of annual rain; the wettest month of the year is regularly August, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
Be careful coming to the Green Mountains, you might not ever want to return back home again. You'll need more than a day to explore everything North Pond has to offer, you can camp at Green Mt. Family Campground, and you can have
a great hiking adventure along the Beaver Meadow Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Courtyard By Marriott Middlebury is a good place to get some rest, and the slopes of Sugarbush are so inviting noone can resist. Summertime highs
at North Pond frequently tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are mostly in the 20's, and nighttime lows at North Pond through the wintertime generally descend into the 0's.
