What a nice lake North Pond is. So much entertaining stuff in the Green Mountains, just incredible. The slopes of Mad River Glen are so inviting noone can resist, and if you need a spot to stay The Middlebury Inn is a pleasant choice. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Green Mountains. The Beaver Meadow Trail is a magnificent hiking trail near North Pond, and you can run the rapids of New Haven River. | | Pond reach the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's while North Pond night low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. After a long day outdoors Courtyard By Marriott Middlebury is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. Gotta ski! Sugarbush is a good place to do that, and there's whitewater on New Haven River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Battell Trail is always a pleasant adventure; camping
is available at Green Mt. Family Campground. This lake is so wonderful. This is a tremendous neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Higgins Pond is a lake in the neighborhood; getting to Baldwin Creek from North Pond is uncomplicated.
North Pond beyond doubt is in the middle of a charming outdoors paradise. Near North Pond you find the Abbey Pond Trail which is a great hiking trail, and the peak of South Mountain can be seen from North Pond. Nearby lakes? Sure,
Gilmore Pond is near North Pond; if you came for an overnight stay Maple Hill Campsites is a delightful place to camp. North Pond is one of the lakes here in the Green Mountains.

Country Village Campgrounds
 | 15 miles away 1 PHOTO Tent Sites, RV Hookups, Pets OK, Fires OK, Store, Nearby Grocery, Pool... - 36 RV hookups... ... activities will make you feel at home. Quite a lot of cool stuff to do next to Country Village Campground, and it's one of those places where everything is close.
If only every location had this much outdoor entertaining stuff, what a great planet it would be. A tremendous place like Half Moon Pond State Park is near Country Village Campground and is too wonderful to leave out, and going for a hike on the Falls of Lana Trail is always a perfect adventure. All through the warm days of summer at Country Village Campground highs are mostly in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's. When the weather is good here at Country Village Campground, you can go for a hike along the Chandler Ridge Trail, and the friendly people of Brandon like to hang out nearby. The Duval Trail is a delightful hiking trail next to Country Village Campground, and a day on Pico Mountain is just what you need.

Chittenden Brook Campground
 | 16 miles away Been to Chittenden Brook Campgound for the last 15 years now...Best place I have ever camped anywhere in New England...Great babbling brook, thick woods..and not many camp sites!! This is true rustic camping...the only things offered at the campground is an outhouse and a brook for bathing..(coldest water I've ever been in).. wonderful hiking trails... beautiful beaver pond.... and generally some wonderful people around to sit around a fire with!!... |
