If you are traveling by, why not stop by North Montpelier Pond. This lake is so wonderful. A perfect close by hotel is Barre-Days Inn Barre/Montpelier; North Montpelier Pond is not far at all from Barre. Lakes are great; North Montpelier Pond is a lake that's close to North Montpelier Pond, and the Silver Ledge Trail offers hiking at its best. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! Summer brings highs in the 60's to North Montpelier Pond while nighttime lows are typically in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with
highs in the 10's while North Montpelier Pond night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 0's. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Owls Head Trail, and camping
at North Montpelier Pond is fine fun, Green Valley Campground is a fine local campground. North Montpelier Pond is located in the Green Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. There's glorious hiking along the Kettle Pond Trail;
if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Kingsbury Branch. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Winooski River, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Woodbury Golf
Course is close at hand. The high level of rain makes North Montpelier Pond a pretty wet place; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
