    Do stop by North Montpelier Pond while you're in this part of Vermont. A fine close by hotel is Barre-Days Inn Barre/Montpelier, and a lake nearby is North Montpelier Pond. North Montpelier Pond is located in the Green Mountains. Take a little tour to Kingsbury Branch since you're here at North Montpelier Pond, and if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Owls Head Trail.
All year is a splendid time in the Green Mountains if you go for
 
   the outdoors. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Minister Brook, unsurprisingly you could also take a look at Crystal Pool if you're here; it's not far at all. North Montpelier Pond is a wet place that gets a lot of precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff close to North Montpelier Pond. At North Montpelier  
               Pond you can distinguish Gritt Hill, and camping at Onion River Campground is always a wonderful experience.
Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in the Green Mountains. While you're here at North Montpelier Pond you will meet lots of folks from close by Barre; if you're here and you like golf, you can explore Woodbury Golf Course. What a place this is for outdoors people. You don't ought to go far from North Montpelier Pond to enjoy Plainfield Town Forest. This lake is so wonderful. There's some exciting stuff to make out at North Montpelier Pond Upper Dam next to North Montpelier Pond; while you're here you can take a hike along the Silver Ledge Trail.
Hollow Inn and Motel is a good location to get some rest, and you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Kettle Pond Trail. Summertime highs at North Montpelier Pond commonly tend to be in the 60's while night lows are mostly in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are generally in the 10's, and overnight lows at North Montpelier Pond through the winter mostly descend into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. North Montpelier Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Green Valley Campground is a good local campground; there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Winooski River.
