North Montpelier Pond is a nice lake to visit. North Montpelier Pond is a quite wet place mostly with a good deal of rainfall; most of the rain falls through August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Now, you may assume that's heaps but there's even more amusing things to do here in the Green Mountains. At North Montpelier Pond you always meet someone from Barre; there are perfect places to explore along the Kettle Pond Trail.

The trees of Plainfield Town Forest are a wonderful source of shade on hot summer days, and if you came for an overnight stay Onion River Campground is a good location to camp. And that's not all you can do here at North Montpelier Pond. Here at North Montpelier Pond you can see Gritt Hill, and of course, this is a great region for people who like lakes, North Montpelier Pond is a lake in the vicinity. Woodbury Golf Course is | |

a delightful golf course nearby, and don't leave North Montpelier Pond without first going for a hike along the Owls Head Trail. If you need a spot to stay Motel Pierre is a glorious choice, and camping is available at Green Valley
Campground. That right there is heaps already, but it carries on; North Montpelier Pond has it all. This lake is so wonderful. Take a little tour to Great Brook if you're here at North Montpelier Pond, and if you come at the right
time of year, Winooski River offers some fine whitewater. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Minister Brook, and not far from North Montpelier Pond you get some great water scenery at North Montpelier Pond Upper Dam. Through
the summertime months at North Montpelier Pond temperatures are usually in the 60's. All through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 10's; night lows at North Montpelier Pond through
the wintertime usually plunge into the 0's. And if that's not sufficient there's heaps more amusing things to do in the Green Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Barre-Days Inn Barre/Montpelier; you can go for a hike on the Silver Ledge Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Green Mountains.
