Yep, outdoors cool things to do are really plentiful here at North Montpelier Pond. Plainfield Town Forest is a forest in close proximity to North Montpelier Pond that you can go to. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Green Mountains. Not far from North Montpelier Pond, you'll hit upon Crystal Pool which is a delightful lake, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Barre here.
