Norford Lake is a lake worth visiting. The yearly precipitation here at Norford Lake is about average; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Rest N' Nest Campground is a wonderful campground here, and let's not forget Abbott Brook which is a stream that you may bump into while here. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Whaleback in close proximity, and Ompompanoosuc River is a tremendous whitewater

Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Green Mountains. From Norford Lake you get a great sight of Gove Hill; you'll probably meet some people from Lebanon here. Throughout the summertime, highs frequently are in the 70's at Norford Lake. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Norford Lake tend to be in the-10's. This lake is | |

so wonderful. Suicide Six is a very popular ski area close at hand, and do take a hike on the Wrights Mountain Trail.
So much entertaining stuff in the Green Mountains, just mind-blowing. Camping at Norford Lake is magnificent
fun, Storrs Pond Recreation Area is a magnificent local campground, and Norford Lake is right by the Dartmouth Outing Club Trail. You completely have to go for Norford Lake. Near Norford Lake you hit upon a golf course called Hanover
Country Club, and hiking along the Mount Peg Foot and Bridal Trails is tremendous fun. You feel that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up.
If you need a site to stay Norwich Inn is a splendid choice; a pleasant spot for whitewater
paddling is Ompompanoosuc River - West Branch. The Green Mountains scenery is always beautiful. There's some interesting stuff to make out at Norford Lake Dam next to Norford Lake; Hanover Inn is a fine place to get some rest.
