It's always fun to stop by Norford Lake. Norford Lake is located in the Green Mountains. While you're here at Norford Lake, you could also go to pretty Lily Pond; don't leave Norford Lake without first going for a hike along the Mount Peg Foot and Bridal Trails. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Norford Lake. The summit of Gove Hill can be made out from Norford Lake, and get dripping wet paddling on Ompompanoosuc River.

| | amusing things to do in the Green Mountains. Lots of folks from Lebanon come to Norford Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Wrights Mountain Trail. Why not stop by nearby Abbott Brook while you're here at Norford Lake, and if you need a place to stay Courtyard by Marriott Hanover Lebanon is a great choice. Norford Lake is Rest N' Nest Campground.
This lake is so wonderful. Norford Lake Dam is not far at all from Norford Lake, and camping at Storrs Pond Recreation Area is always a tremendous experience. This lake is so wonderful.
Going for a hike on the Dartmouth Outing Club Trail is always a brilliant adventure; a golf course nearby is Hanover Country Club. Miller Pond is a nearby lake that you could go to, and paddling on Ompompanoosuc River - West Branch
is so much fun.
All the outdoors fun stuff in the Green Mountains will keep you coming back many times. At Norford Lake during the summertime highs are in the 70's, and the night is a bit cooler of course, generally in the 50's.
Throughout the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Norford Lake are in the-10's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Green Mountains. Skiing at Whaleback is one of those things you just have
to do, and dry warm beds await you at Residence Inn By Marriott Lebanon/Hanover.
Norford Lake gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest.
