In Vermont there are many beautiful lakes, Lake Ninevah is one of them. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Okemo; you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Circle Trail. And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do in the vicinity of Lake Ninevah. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Mill River. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lake Ninevah has to offer, you can camp at Sugarhouse Campground; after a long day outdoors Winterplace on Okemo Mountain is a great place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Ninevah Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out, and if you've had enough of Lake Ninevah, Amherst Lake is close by. to do here at Lake Ninevah that you need to camp here for a while, Plymouth Village Campground is a fine place for that, and playing golf is lots of fun at Okemo Valley Golf Club. There's whitewater on West River for all you adrenaline
junkies; Lake Ninevah is right by the Juggernaut Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You can see Proctor Hill from Lake Ninevah, and hiking along the Bucklin Trail is pleasant fun. This place, the Green Mountains, has so much outdoors
amusing things. You're probably addicted to lakes, Tiny Pond is one of those close by, and a good forest nearby is Calvin Coolidge State Forest. During the summer, highs mostly are in the 80's at Lake Ninevah, and the nighttime is
quite colder of course, mostly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Ninevah temperatures plunge to the 10's. Killington has great slopes and a friendly
staff, and Jackson Gore Inn on Okemo Mountain is a splendid site to get some rest. The high level of rainfall makes Lake Ninevah a pretty wet spot; all through August this area sees the most rain; the driest month is February. Lake Ninevah is located in the Green Mountains.
