Get yourself into a kayak and hit Winooski River, and going for a hike on the Kettle Pond Trail is always a good adventure. A glorious place to camp here at Nichols Pond is Larry and Sons Campground; don't leave Nichols Pond without first going for a hike along the Owls Head Trail. You truly ought to go for the Green Mountains. Do take a look at East Long Pond Dam since       you're here at Nichols Pond, and Martell Swamp is a swamp near Nichols Pond.
