What a nice lake Newark Pond is. Fairbanks Inn is a wonderful place to get some rest; hey, Gotta ski right? Lyndon Outing Club is a fine spot to do that. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Negro Pond. The Green Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay White Caps Campground is a splendid spot to camp; get your heart pumping on the fine whitewater of Moose River.

| | The slopes of Burke Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist, and there's great hiking along the South Shore Hiking Trail. And if that's not enough there's heaps more fun stuff to do in the Green Mountains. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Clyde River, and at Newark Pond you can catch a glimpse of McSherry Mountain.

and why not take a refreshing hike along the Herbert Hawkes Hiking Trail. Summertime highs at Newark Pond usually tend to be in the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are
normally in the 20's; overnight lows in the 0's for Newark Pond. Newark Pond gets a typical amount of rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February.
This lake
is so wonderful. This is a fine vicinity for folks who like lakes. Long Pond is a lake close by, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Newark Pond; Mount Pisgah Trail is a fine local trail. This place, Newark Pond, it completely
has so much outdoors fun stuff. A tremendous close by hotel is Holiday Motel and Annex; naturally Arcadia Brook is a lovely stream that is worth visiting.
