Beautiful Newark Pond has much to offer visitors. Get soaked paddling on Moose River. There's so much to do here at Newark Pond that you need to camp here for a while, White Caps Campground is a good place for that. Throughout the days of summer highs here at Newark Pond get into the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Bald Hill Pond is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and Green Acres Cabins & Shop is a great place to get some rest. From a precipitation point of view Newark Pond is a relatively normal site; during August this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. hiking trail near Newark Pond called the Herbert Hawkes Hiking Trail, and naturally Arcadia Brook flows through this neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Newark Pond you can take a hike along the South
Shore Hiking Trail, and skiing at Lyndon Outing Club is one of those things you just should do. On a glorious day at Newark Pond you can take a hike along the Mount Pisgah Trail, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Burke Mountain since you're here.
