All through the summer at Neal Pond highs are generally in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Neal Pond descend into the-10's. Be careful coming to Neal Pond, you might not ever want to go back home again. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on       Ammonoosuc River for all you adrenaline people. Lakes? Sure, Little Mud Pond is close by. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Shore Trail is delightful fun, and there are other spots here than Neal Pond, for example Cow Mountain Pond. Get your pulse rate up on the nice whitewater of Israel River, and it's a fine idea to visit Hall Brook. The amount of rainfall that falls at Neal Pond is close to the national average; August is the month that gets                  the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Loon Trail, and after a long day outdoors Coos Motor Inn is a great spot to spend a night or two. Neal Pond is one of the lakes here in the Green Mountains. Everybody close by loves skiing at Cannon Mountain; the sight of Baldwin Hill is scenic. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The Green Mountains rules! If you're popping by Neal Pond from Berlin, you won't be the only one, and Burke Mountain is a perfect local ski area. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Neal Pond. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Neal Pond has to offer, you can camp at Lancaster Kwik Stop and Truck Stop, and a good close by hotel is Mountain View Grand Resort. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the Green Mountains has to offer.
