     Go for a hike on the Bomoseen Hiking Loop; Walker Pond is a magnificent lake nearby. During the warm months, highs commonly are in the 80's at Mudd Pond, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's with temperatures at Mudd Pond dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. This place, Mudd Pond, it just has so much outdoors amusing stuff. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Mudd Pond you obtain  
   some splendid water scenery at Walker Pond Dam, and a splendid location for whitewater paddling is Clarendon River.
Yeah, come here to Mudd Pond for a wonderful time. Going for a hike on the Daniel Coffey Memorial Trial is always a delightful adventure; get your pulse rate up on the magnificent whitewater of Otter Creek. Mudd Pond is a good place of typical rain; most of the rain falls during August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
 
               This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Highlander Motel is a great place to spend a night or two; if you came to camp Big D Campground is a splendid spot to do that.
Enjoy a round of golf at Prospect Bay Country Club not far from Mudd Pond, and a good place to check out close by is Hubbardton Gulf. A brilliant nearby hotel is Rutland Killington Red Roof Inn, and Mudd Pond is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Country Village Campgrounds is a wonderful local campground. There are splendid places to discover along the Half Moon Pond Trail, and there are plenty of folks from Rutland here.
The top of Eagle Rock is easily made out from Mudd Pond, and a gorgeous lake like Beebe Pond is a wonderful site to check out.
