If you like lakes and you're in this part of Vermont you can check out Mud Pond. Mud Pond gets a normal amount of precipitation; most of the rain falls through August, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Camping at Spooners Trailer Park and Campground is always a great experience, and Cream Pot Meadow is right here at Mud Pond. For the duration of the long summer days at Mud Pond highs are usually in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge

| | down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Mud Pond dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights.
But wait, there's more exciting things to do in the Green Mountains. Camping is available at New Discovery Campground; since you're here you can take a hike along the Kettle Pond Trail. Inn and Motel, and a day at beautiful Boulder Beach close to Mud Pond is a nice thing to do.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Barre-Days Inn Barre/Montpelier is a brilliant choice, and there is a delightful
hiking trail nearby called the Owls Head Trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Joe's Brook River, and on a delightful day you can take a hike along the Silver Ledge Trail. Mud Pond is
a beautiful lake in the Green Mountains.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Green Mountains. There are some fine whitewater spots on Winooski River; some close by water includes Lanes Brook. So many cool things near Mud Pond,
simply mind-boggling. You're probably interested in lakes, Osmore Pond is one of those close by, and Mud Pond is a site with many visitors from Barre.
