     Get yourself into a kayak and hit Clyde River, and Char-Bo Campground is a delightful campground nearby. Not far from Mud Pond, you'll find Mud Pond which is a gorgeous lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Mount Pisgah East Trail. The slopes of Lyndon Outing Club are so inviting nobody can resist, and Char- BO Campground is a good local campground.
Lakes are good; Mud Pond is a lake that's in the vicinity of Mud Pond, and there are some delightful
 
   whitewater spots on Barton River. Throughout the months of summer, highs mostly are in the 70's at Mud Pond; the overnight is quite chillier of course, usually in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Mud Pond temperatures plunge to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Spend the day on the beach at Balm of Gilead Beach if you're here at Mud Pond, and Mud Pond is right by the Pisgah  
               Trail.
You absolutely ought to have a thing about Mud Pond. Take a hike on the Mount Pisgah Trail, and Cargill Hill can be observed from Mud Pond. Mud Pond gets a typical amount of yearly precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Super 8 Motel - Derby/Newport Area is a delightful location to get some rest, and Burke Mountain is a great local ski area.

I am suprised that I am being ask to be the first person to give input on this beautiful lake that spans northern VT into Canada. It is a lake that talks to you, as far as my opinion goes. I lived in Newport,Newport Center (Bear Mountain) and Noth Troy when I was bewtween the ages of 9-13. I am now 42!

I just recently went back to Newport and that beautiful lake that talked to me, and i think it helped me figure out a part of my life that has been a little bit difficult to understand and move ahead. I Do have somr pictures in some old photo albumd, and I will make an effort to submit,
