Not far from Mud Pond, you'll find Mud Pond which is a gorgeous lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Mount Pisgah East Trail. The slopes of Lyndon Outing Club are so inviting nobody can resist, and Char- BO Campground is a good local campground. Lakes are good; Mud Pond is a lake that's in the vicinity of Mud Pond, and there are some delightful       whitewater spots on Barton River. Throughout the months of summer, highs mostly are in the 70's at Mud Pond; the overnight is quite chillier of course, usually in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Mud Pond temperatures plunge to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Spend the day on the beach at Balm of Gilead Beach if you're here at Mud Pond, and Mud Pond is right by the Pisgah                  Trail. You absolutely ought to have a thing about Mud Pond. Take a hike on the Mount Pisgah Trail, and Cargill Hill can be observed from Mud Pond.
