Summer brings highs in the 70's to Mud Pond. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. Highs during the winter are frequently in the 20's, and overnight lows at Mud Pond during the wintertime frequently drop into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Lyndon Outing Club has brilliant slopes and a friendly staff, and Mud Pond is a great place to visit for more than one day, White Caps Campground is a great place to camp nearby. Pond has to offer, you can camp at White Caps Campground. This lake is so wonderful. The panorama of scenic Job Mountain near Mud Pond is delightful; get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Clyde River. You'll find a pretty lake called Jobs Pond near Mud Pond, and nice skiing awaits you at Burke Mountain.
