Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. Highs during the winter are frequently in the 20's, and overnight lows at Mud Pond during the wintertime frequently drop into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Lyndon Outing Club has brilliant slopes and a friendly staff, and Mud Pond is a great place to visit for more than one day, White Caps Campground is a great place to camp nearby. Yep, outdoors entertaining things       truly is abundant here in the Green Mountains. Going for a hike along the South Shore Hiking Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and dry warm beds await you at Fairbanks Inn. Mud Pond is a good place of typical rain; the month with most of the rain is August, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Mud Pond is located in the Green Mountains.
