Mud Pond is a nice lake to visit. For the duration of the summertime months here at Mud Pond, high temperatures usually get into the 70's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Mud Pond. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Green Mountains. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend White River; hiking is a popular thing

| | to do around Mud Pond; Clark Brook Trail is a wonderful local trail. So much amusing stuff to do in the Green Mountains, not enough time. A lake close by is Randolph Reservoir, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Barnard Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Mud Pond and you like golf, you can go to Montague Golf Club, and Mud Pond is a delightful place to visit for more than one day, Lake Champagne Campground is a delightful place | |

to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on White River - First Branch for all you thrill seekers; there's fine hiking along the Bear Hill Trail. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down
to Mud Pond. Sugarbush Condos is a great place to get some rest; skiing at Twin Farms is one of those things you just must do. Abel Mountain Campground is a great local campground. This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains.
Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn At Maplewood, and lots of folks from Barre come here. The yearly rain here at Mud Pond is about average; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least
amount of precipitation. You can never get enough of the brilliant skiing at Sugarbush, and the vista of Ferry Hill is scenic.
