    It's always fun to stop by Mud Pond. Yep, outdoors fun things truly is abundant here in the Green Mountains. There's whitewater on Lamoille River - Wild Branch for all you adrenaline people, and there is a wonderful hiking trail nearby called the Bayley Hazen Military Road Trail. Skiing at Jay Peak is one of those things you just ought to do, and you can stay the night at Lakeview Camping Area. For the duration of the warm days of summer highs here at Mud Pond reach  
   the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are commonly in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Mud Pond temperatures fall to the 0's.
Here at Mud Pond you can catch a glimpse of The Knob; you'll come across a pretty lake called Round Pond. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Mud Pond has to offer, you can camp at Mountain View Campground, and if you need
 
               a spot to stay Golden Eagle Resort is a great choice. The Green Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
This lake is so wonderful. While staying at Mud Pond you could always look at Devils Gap; you can run the rapids of Gihon River. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Green Mountains. Lakes are such calm sites, why not take a look at Gut Pond next to Mud Pond; a nice close by hotel is Commodores Inn. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff at Mud Pond. A spree to Beaver Meadow revives the spirit; not far from Mud Pond you get some great water scenery at South Pond Dam.
Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Mud Pond. Mud Pond gets a lot of water; the wettest month of the year is generally August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February. Some nearby water includes Boomhour Branch, and you can never get enough of the good skiing at Stowe.
