Just can't get enough of the Green Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Golden Eagle Resort, and playing golf is lots of fun at Farm Resort & Golf Course. And if that's not sufficient there's a lot more amusing stuff to do in the Green Mountains. If you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Gihon River, and you can stay the night at Lakeview Camping Area. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Mud Pond. Hit the

| | slopes at Stowe close at hand. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Bayley Hazen Military Road Trail; Beaver Lake Dam is charming. Mud Pond mostly gets a lot of precipitation; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. The Green Mountains scenery is always beautiful. brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Mud Pond are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Mud Pond is not far at all from Barre; Toothaker Hill can be seen from Mud Pond. Any time is a nice time at Mud Pond
if you adore the outdoors. It's a wonderful idea to visit Green River, it's close to Mud Pond; Zack Woods Pond is a magnificent lake close by. Mountain View Campground is a brilliant campground nearby, and after a long day outdoors
Commodores Inn is a nice location to spend a night or two. Smugglers Notch is a very popular ski area nearby, and a wonderful place for whitewater paddling is Lamoille River - Wild Branch. Not far from Mud Pond you can enjoy the trees of Morrisville Village Forest, and lakes are such serene places, why not pop by Perch Pond.
