If you are traveling by, why not stop by Mud Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody close by loves skiing at Burke Mountain, and there's nice hiking along the Loggers Loop Trail. All year is a good time in the Green Mountains if you fancy the outdoors. Gotta ski! Lyndon Outing Club is a perfect spot to do that, and you can catch a glimpse of East Haven Mountain from Mud Pond. Having a fine time at Mud Pond is painless. Whitewater paddling is wonderful

| | on Nulhegan River, and Mud Pond is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Burke Mountain Campgrounds is a splendid local campground.
A fine close by hotel is Old Cutter Inn & Restaurant, and don't leave Mud Pond without first going for a hike along the Bear Den Trail. Camping at Breezy Meadows Campground is always a great experience, and during your spree here you'll meet some folks from Berlin for sure. Mud Pond is one of the lakes here in the Green | |

Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things in the Green Mountains. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Moose River, and hiking is a popular
thing to do around Mud Pond; Main Trail is a brilliant local trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Mud Pond while nighttime lows are commonly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the
20's, and overnight lows in the-10's for Mud Pond.
This lake is so wonderful. Inn at Mountain View Farm is a tremendous place to get some rest, and a quick tour to East Branch Moose River is definitely a great idea. Mud Pond gets
a common amount of annual rainfall; most of the rain falls during August; February is the month with the least moisture.
