Not far from Mud Pond, you'll hit upon Bog Pond which is a charming lake, and lots of people from Berlin come here. Summertime highs at Mud Pond regularly tend to be in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are generally in the 20's while Mud Pond nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the-10's. Mud Pond is one of the lakes here in the Green Mountains. most of the rain is August, and February on the other hand is the driest. Here at Mud Pond you can distinguish East Haven Mountain, and there is a wonderful hiking trail nearby called the Bear Den Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
There's whitewater on Moose River for all you adrenaline kick people, and Lyndon Outing Club has glorious slopes and a friendly staff. This site rules, just explore all the cool stuff to do close to Mud Pond. A delightful close
by hotel is Hampton Inn Littleton, and going for a hike on the Main Trail is always a brilliant adventure. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Green Mountains. Near Mud Pond you find the Loggers Loop Trail which is
a great hiking trail, and pleasant skiing awaits you at Burke Mountain. So many cool things to do at Mud Pond, so little time. Holiday Motel and Annex is a nice site to get some rest, and get your heart pumping on the wonderful whitewater of Nulhegan River.
