You'll meet a lot of folks from Berlin here, and if you come at the right time of year, Clyde River offers some brilliant whitewater. Through the months of summer at Mud Pond temperatures are regularly in the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Mud Pond. Now,       you may assume that's a lot but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Green Mountains. Burke Mountain has perfect slopes and a friendly staff, and hiking along the Red Pine Trail is glorious fun. Yeah, come here to Mud Pond for a pleasant time. Drift down the rapids of Nulhegan River in a kayak, and Lyndon Outing Club is a very popular ski area close by. This lake is so wonderful. The Green Mountains scenery is always beautiful. An average                  amount of rainfall falls at Mud Pond; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Green Mountains is unbeatable! A wonderful location to camp here at Mud Pond is Lakeside Camping Area, and camping is available at Burke Mountain Campgrounds. If you need a location to stay Coos Motor Inn is a great choice; the Main Trail offers hiking at its best.
