    Do stop by Mud Pond while you're in this part of Vermont. Be careful coming to the Green Mountains, you might not ever want to go home again. Good hiking is available along the Shore Trail, and if you've had enough of Mud Pond, Dennis Pond is nearby. Nulhegan River is a pleasant whitewater spot right next door to Mud Pond. This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains.
Summertime at Mud Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is
 
   down it falls down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows at Mud Pond through the wintertime mostly fall into the-10's. There's great hiking along the Moose Trail, and after a long day outdoors Coos Motor Inn is a glorious place to spend a night or two. So much exciting stuff to do at Mud Pond, so little time. If you're here at Mud Pond, you could explore Notch Pond Brook. There's so much to do here at Mud Pond  
               that you need to camp here for a while, Big Rock Campground and Store is a tremendous location for that.
Yeah, come up here to the Green Mountains for a glorious time. You're probably into lakes, West Mountain Pond is one of those close by, and from Mud Pond you obtain a nice sight of French Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Lancaster Motor Inn is a glorious choice; if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Israel River. The yearly rainfall here at Mud Pond is about average; during August this area sees the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month.
This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Loon Trail, and during your visit here you'll meet some people from Berlin for sure. The snow is great at Burke Mountain, and Mud Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Lakeside Camping Area is a pleasant local campground.
