A visit to Mud Pond is always a good idea. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Mud Pond, too good to be true. Go for a hike on the Loon Trail; great skiing awaits you at Burke Mountain. After a long day outdoors Coos Motor Inn is a delightful place to spend a night or two, and French Mountain is a peak you can see from Mud Pond. All through the warm months at Mud Pond highs are ordinarily in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. Throughout

| | the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 20's, and nighttime lows during the wintertime for Mud Pond tend to be in the-10's.
Mud Pond is a beautiful lake in the Green Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Lancaster Motor Inn, and of course, this is a good neighborhood for people who like lakes, Maidstone Lake is a lake around here. Mud Pond is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Big Rock Campground and Store is a nice local campground.

if that's not sufficient there's a lot more cool things to do in the Green Mountains. You're probably hooked on lakes, Paul Stream Pond is one of those nearby, and camping at Lakeside Camping Area is always a fine experience. Mud
Pond gets a common amount of yearly rain; most of the rain falls during August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. There's brilliant hiking along the Moose Trail, and if you're
dropping by from Berlin, you won't be the only one.
Just can't get enough of the Green Mountains. Good hiking is available along the Shore Trail, and get dripping wet paddling on Israel River. This lake is so wonderful. Notch Pond Brook is a wonderful stream that is worth a visit, and whitewater paddling is delightful on Nulhegan River.
