If you like lakes and you're in this part of Vermont you can check out Mud Pond. If you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Nulhegan River. If you love the outdoors, you'll like Mud Pond. Near Mud Pond you locate Buzzell Gap which is a splendid place to go to, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Burke Mountain if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. There is a glorious hiking trail

| | in the neighborhood of Mud Pond called the Loon Trail, and Mitchell Mountain is clearly visible from Mud Pond.
Mud Pond gets a common amount of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is frequently August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February. you need to camp here for a while, Lakeside Camping Area is a splendid place for that, and Moose River has a delightful whitewater paddling spot nearby.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Shore Trail is always
a good adventure; a brilliant close by hotel is Coos Motor Inn. You can never get enough of the great skiing at Lyndon Outing Club, and do take a look at Applelon Brook while you're here at Mud Pond. If you came to camp Lancaster
Kwik Stop and Truck Stop is a fine site to do that; during your trip here you'll meet some people from Berlin for sure.
And that's not everything you can do here in the Green Mountains. There are glorious sites to discover along
the Moose Trail, and Lancaster Motor Inn is a perfect spot to get some rest. Summer at Mud Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Mud Pond temperatures dip to the-10's.
