Mud Pond is a nice lake to visit. Do check out Duck Pond in close proximity to Mud Pond, it's a beautiful lake, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Motel and Annex is a good spot to spend a night or two. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Green Mountains has to offer. If you come at the right time of year, Clyde River offers some nice whitewater, and camping is available at Will-o-wood Campground. So many amusing things to

| | do here at Mud Pond, too brilliant to be true. The view of Big Rock Hill from Mud Pond is stunning; Mud Pond is right by the Herbert Hawkes Hiking Trail. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Barton River, and hiking along the South Shore Hiking Trail is good fun. An average amount of precipitation falls at Mud Pond; most of the rain falls during August, and February on the other hand is the driest. Mud Pond is one of the lakes here in the Green Mountains. is excellent! You'll find a delightful lake called Long Pond near Mud Pond, and camping at Belview Campground is always a tremendous experience. This lake is so wonderful. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Mount Pisgah
Trail; great skiing awaits you at Burke Mountain. At Mud Pond through the long summer days highs are in the 70's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and night lows all through the wintertime for Mud Pond tend to be in the 0's.
