    Mud Pond is a lake worth visiting. A great nearby hotel is Greenmount Lodge. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Visit Farnum Brook if you're here at Mud Pond; hey, Gotta ski right? Bromley is a splendid spot to do that. That right there is plenty of amusing things already but it goes on, the Green Mountains has it all. White Pine Lodge is a magnificent spot to get some rest; camping at Mud Pond is magnificent fun, Maryville Campground and Gift Shop  
   is a magnificent local campground.
This lake is so wonderful. Near Mud Pond you locate the Utley Brook Trail which is a fine hiking trail, and if you're here, you could also explore lovely Lyons Pond. Lots of folks from Bennington come to Mud Pond; going for a hike on the Jones Brook Trail is always a splendid adventure. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things in the Green Mountains. There's whitewater on West River for all
 
               you thrill seekers; delightful scenery and glorious skiing is what you get at Stratton.
Mud Pond is one of the lakes here in the Green Mountains. All the water falling down from the sky makes Mud Pond a wet spot; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is February. High temperatures at Mud Pond during the warm days of summer are in the 80's; the overnight is rather colder of course, ordinarily in the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Mud Pond.
This lake is so wonderful. Campground A is a tremendous campground here; Farnum Dam is an exciting thing to check out. There are some great whitewater spots on Winhall River, and the Little Michigan Trail is a good hiking trail close by.
