Why not stop by Mud Pond if you're passing through these parts. This lake is so wonderful. The Little Michigan Trail offers hiking at its best; there are plenty of folks from Bennington here at Mud Pond. This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Bromley is in the neighborhood of Mud Pond, and a great place to camp here at Mud Pond is Campground A. | | the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the winter highs are mostly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Mud Pond are in the 10's. You truly must adore the Green Mountains. Mt Snow Grand Summit Resort is a fine place to get some rest, and if you come at the right time of year, Winhall River offers some tremendous whitewater. location to spend a night or two, and Mud Pond is right by the Jones Brook Trail. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Utley Brook Trail, and Farnum Dam is a spot that is in the neighborhood of Mud Pond. These mountains rock,
just look at all the exciting things to do in the Green Mountains. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on West River, and the skiing at Stratton is brilliant. Mud Pond ordinarily gets a large amount of precipitation; during
August this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the area in the neighborhood of Mud Pond has to offer. Farnum Brook is a good site to visit,
and Mud Pond is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Maryville Campground and Gift Shop is a delightful local campground.
